Mobile auto locksmith in West St. Paul
The car might be in a driveway in Middlechurch, in the lot at the Recreation Site on Main Street, or on a street in Legend Estates. A lost key, a dead fob or a lockout is handled where it is parked, with the trip past the city line counted into one up-front price.
West St. Paul is the rural municipality that begins where the City of Winnipeg ends on the north side, on the west bank of the Red River, with East St. Paul across the water. Main Street carries on into it as Highway 9, a four-lane road with a cloverleaf at the North Perimeter, then north through Middlechurch toward St. Andrews and Selkirk. McPhillips Street becomes Highway 8 at Emes Road on the city line, meets the Perimeter at a second cloverleaf and crosses Grassmere Road (PR 220) and Miller Road (PR 321) on its way toward Gimli.
It is two communities rather than one town. Middlechurch, the larger, covers the south — the municipal hall, the fire station, the curling club and St. Paul's Anglican Church — and Rivercrest lies to the north, with the Royal Manitoba Yacht Club. Both the RM and Middlechurch take their name from St. Paul's, opened in 1825 as the Middle Church between St. John's and St. Andrew's on the Red River.
Day to day, Main Street is the spine. The municipal office and the Recreation Site, with the 17,000-square-foot Access Centre and Bev Bragg Park, share 3550 Main Street, and West St. Paul School is at 3740. The King's School is on Kapelus Drive. Around it are subdivisions with parks of their own — Legend Estates by Griffin Way, the Trails of West St. Paul off Sage Bush Lane, Parkview Pointe — and next comes the Meadowlands development, where the province announced a new K–8 school in February 2025.
In winter seven of the RM's parks keep a pleasure rink, Riverdale off Riverglen Crescent, Rivercrest off Norham Road and the McNaughton Community Centre at Addis Avenue among them; a car at any of them is on-site work for me until 9 PM.
West St. Paul is outside the City of Winnipeg, even where Main Street runs on without a break. The travel fee is $2 per km from the Winnipeg city limit to where the car is in West St. Paul, built into the exact all-in price you hear before I set out — that number is what you pay, never a surprise when I pull up.
What I do on-site
- On-site anywhere in West St. Paul — a driveway in Middlechurch or Rivercrest, the Recreation Site lot at 3550 Main Street, a school lot on Main Street or Kapelus Drive, or a street in Legend Estates. No towing to a shop.
- Spare keys, lost keys, lockouts, fobs and chip keys — cut and programmed at the car, whether it sits off Highway 9 or off Highway 8 past the Perimeter. Most makes and models, older cars included.
- Up-front price, no call-out fee — car lockout from $150, spare, chip key or fob from $160, smart / push-to-start from $170, all keys lost from $200, taxes included. The RM is outside Winnipeg, so a travel fee is already inside that figure, and you pay only once the key works or the car is open.
- Half price on a second key — same car, cut at the same visit, with a 1-year warranty on the work. Easier to arrange while the car sits in your own driveway than on the day the only key goes missing at a ball diamond.
- Open 8 AM to 9 PM, 7 days — holidays included, Canada Day too. Call, text or WhatsApp +1 (204) 406-1801.

Before any work, I always check your vehicle registration and a matching photo ID. It is a standard part of how I work — to confirm the vehicle is yours and keep everything above board.
Frequently asked questions
- Do you come to West St. Paul?
- Yes. I come to the car anywhere in the RM — Middlechurch, Rivercrest, the subdivisions along Highway 9, Highway 8 past the Perimeter, or the Recreation Site lot on Main Street — and do the work there, with no tow. West St. Paul is outside the City of Winnipeg, so a travel fee sits inside the all-in price you hear first. Tell me the year, make and model, and we pick a day and time that suit you.
- When can you reach West St. Paul?
- Any day from 8 AM to 9 PM, holidays included. When I can be there depends on where I am and what is already booked, so rather than promise a time I tell you honestly. Call or message +1 (204) 406-1801 with the street and the nearest cross road; overnight texts and WhatsApp messages are answered from 8 AM.
- Is Middlechurch part of West St. Paul?
- Yes. Middlechurch is the larger of the RM's two communities, along Highway 9 just north of the Perimeter, with the municipal hall, the fire station and St. Paul's church; Rivercrest is the other, to the north. Neither is inside Winnipeg, even though Main Street runs straight on, so the price for either includes a travel fee.
- What can you do on-site in West St. Paul?
- All of it happens at the car: spare keys, a new key when every key is lost, lockouts, remote and fob programming and chip (transponder) keys, for most makes and models, older cars included. A driveway in Legend Estates or the Trails of West St. Paul works as well as a lot on Main Street.
- How much does it cost in West St. Paul?
- A car lockout starts from $150, a spare, chip key or fob from $160, a smart / push-to-start key from $170 and all keys lost from $200, taxes included, whether the car is in Middlechurch or up in Rivercrest. The RM starts at the city line, so the travel fee is $2 per km from the Winnipeg city limit to where the car is; it is part of the all-in price I give you before I set out, and you pay only once the key works or the car is open. Some makes cost more, and the price list has every service.
