How to Delete Your Data

What data we may hold

Gaucho Keys is a small mobile auto locksmith serving Winnipeg. We have no customer accounts or logins, so the only personal information we might have about you is:

• Contact-form and message details you send us yourself — your name, phone number, the vehicle you asked about, and any message. We keep these only so we can reply to your enquiry and follow up on the work you asked about.
• Basic website analytics collected through Google and Meta (Facebook) measurement tools, and only when you have accepted cookies. This is standard information about how the site is used, tied to the cookie choice you made in the banner.

How to request deletion

You do not need a form or an account. Simply contact us and ask, and we will remove your enquiry details from our records:

• Email info@gauchokeys.ca, or
• Text +1 (204) 406-1801 — ideally from the same phone number you used to contact us, so we can find your enquiry.

A short message such as “please delete my data” is all we need. If you can include the name or phone number you used when you first reached out, it helps us locate the right record.

What happens, and how long it takes

Once we have your request, we action it promptly and delete the enquiry details we hold about you. Please note that where the law requires it — for example basic accounting or tax records tied to a completed job — we may need to keep the minimum information required for as long as that obligation lasts. Everything beyond that minimum is removed.

Cookies and analytics opt-out

The Google and Meta measurement cookies only run if you accept them. To opt out, choose Decline in the cookie banner on this site. Because that data is handled by Google and Meta, you can also use their own controls and opt-out tools — our Privacy Policy describes what each tool does and where to find those settings.
