A lot of “locksmith” numbers you find online are really call centres. You get quoted one thing on the phone, then a van you’ve never heard of turns up and the price changes. Gaucho Keys doesn’t work like that. When you message or call, you reach me directly — no dispatcher in the middle and no subcontractor sent in my place.

The person who quotes you is the person who shows up. I give you the price, I drive out, and I cut, program and test the key myself. If anything needs sorting out afterwards, you’re talking to the same person who did the job — not a queue.

What I do

Gaucho Keys is a mobile auto locksmith, and cars are the whole focus. I handle:

• Lost car keys and fresh spare keys
• Car lockouts — damage-free entry
• Key fob and remote programming
• Transponder (chip) keys
• Smart / push-to-start keys
• All-keys-lost, where there’s no working key left

I work on-site for most vehicles from about 2000 and newer. Everything happens right at your car — I bring the equipment to you, so there’s nothing to tow anywhere.

Where and when you’ll find me

I come to you across Winnipeg and the nearby towns, 8 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week — evenings and weekends included. Inside Winnipeg the call-out is free. For towns outside the city there’s a small travel fee, and it’s already built into the one all-in price I give you before I head out — so there’s no surprise line item when I get there.

How I work

I try to keep everything simple and predictable, so you always know where you stand:

• One flat, all-in price — taxes included. You get the exact number up front, before any work starts.
• No Fix = No Pay. You pay only once your new key works or you’re back in your car. If I can’t solve it, you pay nothing.

• Damage-free entry. Getting you back into your car without harming it is the whole point.
• Ownership verified on every job. Before I cut or program anything, I check the vehicle registration and a matching photo ID — it’s a standard part of every job, and it’s what protects you as the owner.

A bit about my background

I came to Canada and built Gaucho Keys to do this trade the straightforward way — honest prices, tidy work, and standing behind the result. I’ve worked with keys and access systems for about nine years, and it’s genuinely the kind of work I know best. I’m not the biggest shop in town, and I’m fine with that: it means every job has my name on it, and I’d rather do it properly than rush it.
