Mobile auto locksmith in Oak Bluff
Oak Bluff sits on Highway 3 just past the south-west corner of the Perimeter. Whether the car is in Oak Bluff West or at the Recreation Centre, a lost key, a dead fob or a lockout is handled where it is parked, with the drive counted into one price you hear first.
It lies in the Rural Municipality of Macdonald, whose seat is in Sanford. The road out is McGillivray Boulevard, which leaves the city as Highway 3, crosses the Perimeter and runs down the eastern edge of Oak Bluff to a roundabout with Highway 2, the Red Coat Trail. In January 2026 the province announced a $235-million interchange where the Perimeter crosses McGillivray, with completion expected by 2030.
Oak Bluff started as a farming district; business and industry spread along Highway 3 from the 1960s, and much of the recent building has been in the Oak Bluff West subdivision.
The Oak Bluff Recreation Centre on MacDonald Road has artificial ice and a hall for weddings and socials, with a four-plex of ball diamonds and a soccer pitch outside. Oak Bluff Community School teaches kindergarten to Grade 8 for the Red River Valley School Division, and older students go on to high school in Sanford. Between Oak Bluff and the city, The Rink Training Centre is a private arena and training complex that houses the Rink Hockey Academy.
In winter the rinks host minor hockey, and in summer the ball diamonds take over. A busy lot after a game is an awkward place to find a key locked inside or a fob that will not wake up — say which lot, and roughly where the car is, when you get in touch.
I cover Oak Bluff, just past Winnipeg’s south-west edge. It sits outside the city limits, so the travel fee is $2 per km from the Winnipeg city limit to Oak Bluff, worked into the exact, all-in number you get before I set out — never a surprise when I pull up.
What I do on-site
- On-site anywhere in Oak Bluff — a driveway in Oak Bluff West, the Recreation Centre lot on MacDonald Road, outside Oak Bluff Community School, or a business along Highway 3. No towing up McGillivray to a dealership.
- Keys cut and programmed at the car — spares, lost keys, lockouts, fobs and chip keys, done in the driveway or the lot where it sits. Most makes and models, older cars included.
- The price, travel included, before I leave — car lockout from $150, spare, chip key or fob from $160, smart / push-to-start from $170, all keys lost from $200, taxes included. Oak Bluff is in the RM of Macdonald, outside Winnipeg, so a fee for the distance is already inside that number. No call-out fee, and you pay only once the key works or the car is open.
- Half price on a second key — same car, cut at the same visit, with a 1-year warranty on the work. A spare is far easier to make while the car is sitting at home than after the only key is gone.
- Open 8 AM to 9 PM, 7 days — holidays included, so a Saturday at the ball diamonds or a weeknight at the rink both fall inside my hours. Call, text or WhatsApp +1 (204) 406-1801.

Before any work, I always check your vehicle registration and a matching photo ID. It is a standard part of how I operate — to confirm the vehicle is yours and keep everything above board.
Frequently asked questions
- Do you come to Oak Bluff?
- Yes. The work happens where the car is: a street in Oak Bluff West, the Recreation Centre on MacDonald Road, the school, or a business on Highway 3 between the Perimeter and the Highway 2 roundabout. As the community is in the RM of Macdonald rather than the city, a fee for the distance is part of the price, and I tell you the full amount before leaving. Send the year, make and model, and I will find a day and time that suit you.
- When can you reach Oak Bluff?
- Any day between 8 AM and 9 PM, holidays included. Oak Bluff is just south-west of the city along McGillivray Boulevard, and when I can come depends on where the car is and what is already on the schedule, so get in touch on +1 (204) 406-1801 and you will get an honest time. The travel fee for the distance is already counted in the single all-in price I give you before leaving.
- Do you cover Oak Bluff West and the Highway 3 strip?
- Yes, both. Oak Bluff West is the subdivision behind much of the recent growth, and Highway 3, from the Perimeter down to the Highway 2 roundabout, is where the community’s businesses grew up. With a new interchange announced where the Perimeter crosses McGillivray (due by 2030), “the highway” can mean a lot of places, so give the street or the business name when you message me, and send a photo of the key on WhatsApp if you can.
- What can you do on-site in Oak Bluff?
- Lockouts, spares, lost keys, fobs and chip keys, handled in the driveway or the parking lot rather than at a counter — from a new street in Oak Bluff West to the Recreation Centre on MacDonald Road. That covers most makes and models, older cars included.
- How much does it cost in Oak Bluff?
- Starting prices for Oak Bluff, taxes included: lockout from $150; spare, chip key or fob from $160; smart / push-to-start key from $170; all keys lost from $200. The community sits in the RM of Macdonald, beyond the city limits, so the travel fee is $2 per km from the Winnipeg city limit to Oak Bluff; it is part of the all-in price I give you before I set out, and you pay only once the key works or the car is open. Some makes cost more, and the pricing page shows the full list.
