Mobile auto locksmith in Kirkfield Park

At a driveway in Westwood, the Grace Hospital on Booth Drive or the arena at the Kirkfield-Westwood Community Centre, the lockout, spare or replacement key is done beside the car, and the price is agreed before I begin.

Kirkfield Park is the far western end of Winnipeg, strung along Portage Avenue out toward Assiniboia Downs and the Perimeter Highway. The provincial riding of the same name covers the westernmost tip of the city — Kirkfield, Westwood, Glendale, Woodhaven, Birchwood, Booth, Silver Heights and part of Assiniboia Downs — with St. James to the east, Charleswood to the south and west, and Assiniboia to the north.

The neighbourhood of Kirkfield itself sits south of Portage on the north bank of the Assiniboine, with Westwood Drive on its west side and the St. Charles Country Club wrapping around its east side. Westwood carries on west of Westwood Drive to the Glendale Golf & Country Club, and you turn into it off Portage at Bedson Street, Rouge Road or Westwood Drive. North of Portage, Crestview runs between Buchanan Avenue, Saskatchewan Avenue and Sturgeon Creek, and the Sturgeon Creek neighbourhood fills the blocks between Muriel Street and Greenway Crescent up to Hamilton Avenue.

Westwood, Crestview and St. Charles were mostly built in the 1960s. On the residential streets the job happens in your driveway or at the curb out front.

Crestview is home to the Grace Hospital at 300 Booth Drive. A key locked in during a visit, or a fob that stops working in the hospital parking, is dealt with right there, and nobody has to leave a patient to wait on a tow.

Winter brings the rinks into it: the indoor arena at the Kirkfield-Westwood Community Centre, which shares its grounds with Sansome School and Westwood Collegiate, and the two outdoor rinks at Pinehurst/Byron Park beside Lincoln Middle School. In summer it is the river parks in Westwood — Coleridge Park, Benjaminson Park and Westwood Green, all looking onto the Assiniboine — and the St. Charles Country Club. At the west end sits the Assiniboia Downs racetrack at 3975 Portage Avenue.

What I do on-site

  • On-site anywhere in Kirkfield Park — a driveway in Kirkfield, Westwood or Crestview, the Grace Hospital on Booth Drive, the Kirkfield-Westwood Community Centre arena, the streets off Portage around Sturgeon Creek, or Assiniboia Downs at the city's west edge. Nothing is towed.
  • Lost keys, spares, lockouts, fobs and chip keys — cut and programmed right at the vehicle for most makes and models, older cars included.
  • Up-front price, no call-out fee — a lockout from $150 and a spare, chip key or fob from $160; a smart key from $170; all keys lost from $200; all taxes included. Payment only once the key works.
  • Half price on a second key — for the same car, cut at the same visit, backed by a 1-year warranty on the work.
  • 8 AM to 9 PM, every day including holidays — call, text or WhatsApp +1 (204) 406-1801 and say which side of Portage you are on.

Before any work, I always check your vehicle registration and a matching photo ID. It is a standard part of how I operate — to confirm the vehicle is yours and keep everything above board.

Frequently asked questions

Do you come to Kirkfield Park?
Yes, and to the rest of the west end with it: Kirkfield and Westwood south of Portage Avenue, Crestview and Sturgeon Creek north of it, and the streets around Booth Drive and the Grace Hospital. It is all inside Winnipeg, the work is done where the car is parked, and there is no tow to a shop.
When can you reach Kirkfield Park?
Seven days a week, 8 AM to 9 PM, and on holidays as well. Kirkfield Park is about as far west as the city goes, so the answer on timing depends on the other jobs that day and on Portage Avenue; message or call +1 (204) 406-1801, I'll tell you honestly when I can be there, and we book a time around it.
Do you cover the Grace Hospital on Booth Drive?
Yes. The Grace Hospital at 300 Booth Drive, its parking and the Crestview streets around it are all normal ground for me. If a key gets locked in during a visit or a fob stops working in the lot, tell me the entrance and roughly where the car is; after the registration and ID check, the work is done in that spot.
What can you do on-site in Kirkfield Park?
I open locked cars, cut spare and duplicate keys, replace lost ones and program fobs, remotes and chip keys for most makes and models, older cars included — in a Westwood driveway, outside the arena at the Kirkfield-Westwood Community Centre, or at Assiniboia Downs. With no key left at all, a new one is cut and programmed from scratch at the car. Vehicle registration and a matching photo ID are checked before anything starts.
How much does it cost in Kirkfield Park?
A lockout in Kirkfield Park costs from $150 and a spare, chip key or fob from $160; smart / push-to-start keys start at $170 and a full all-keys-lost job at $200, taxes included in every figure. Even out by Assiniboia Downs at the western edge you are still inside Winnipeg, so no travel charge is added; some makes cost more, and you pay once the key works (see all prices).
