Mobile auto locksmith in Crescentwood

Whether the car is in a driveway on Kingsway, at the curb by Enderton Park or outside the community centre on Corydon Avenue, I open locked cars and cut and program spare or replacement keys and fobs right where it is parked, and you hear the price before anything is touched.

Crescentwood is a compact neighbourhood inside the River Heights area. Academy Road runs along its north side and Corydon Avenue along its south side, Cambridge Street marks the west edge and the Assiniboine River the east, and Wellington Crescent follows the bends of the river.

Most of the grid — Yale, Harvard, Kingsway and Dromore Avenues and Oxford Street — was laid out in 1904 by the real estate agent C. H. Enderton, whose lot covenants set the houses back from the sidewalk and kept them single-family.

Inside the grid, Enderton Park — two acres between Ruskin Row, Yale Avenue, Avonhurst Street and Harvard Avenue, nicknamed Peanut Park — is the neighbourhood park. Kelvin High School is at 155 Kingsway, and the Corydon Community Centre runs its Crescentwood site at 1170 Corydon Avenue.

The car may be in a driveway, in a garage or at the curb in front of one of those set-back houses; any of them works for me. The two edges are city routes: Academy Road carries Route 70 from the Maryland Bridge to Stafford Street, and Corydon Avenue is Route 95, so a lockout at the curb outside a shop on either is as ordinary a job as one in a driveway.

What I do on-site

  • At the car, anywhere in Crescentwood — a driveway on Kingsway or Dromore, the curb on Wellington Crescent, a garage behind a house on Harvard or Yale, the street beside Enderton Park, or outside the Crescentwood site at 1170 Corydon Avenue. No towing.
  • Keys and fobs cut and programmed on-site — spares, replacements, remotes and transponder (chip) keys for most makes and models, older cars included, plus lockouts opened without damage.
  • The number before the work — lockout from $150; spare, chip key or fob from $160; smart / push-to-start from $170; all keys lost from $200; taxes included and no call-out fee. Crescentwood is inside Winnipeg, so nothing is added for the drive. Payment comes only once the key works.
  • A second key for half price — same car, same visit, covered by the 1-year warranty on my work. Getting the backup while the only key still works is the cheap way round.
  • Open 8 AM–9 PM, seven days, holidays too — call, text or WhatsApp +1 (204) 406-1801 with the house number and the nearest cross street.

Before any work, I always check your vehicle registration and a matching photo ID. It is a standard part of how I operate — to confirm the vehicle is yours and keep everything above board.

Frequently asked questions

Do you come to Crescentwood?
Yes, the whole neighbourhood: from Academy Road south to Corydon Avenue and from Cambridge Street east to the river. That covers Wellington Crescent, the Enderton streets — Yale, Harvard, Kingsway, Dromore and Oxford — and the blocks around Enderton Park. Gaucho Keys is mobile, so the job is done wherever the car is parked and nothing goes to a shop.
Can you work on a car at one of the older houses?
Yes. Enderton’s covenants set the houses back from the sidewalk and kept them single-family, so the car may be in a long driveway, a garage behind the house or at the curb out front. Wherever it is, the key is cut and programmed beside it; in a garage I only need the door up and room to reach the driver’s seat. A photo of the key and the year of the car, sent ahead, help me bring the right blank.
When can you reach Crescentwood?
Any day between 8 AM and 9 PM, holidays included. I don’t name a time before I know the day’s bookings and the traffic; call or message +1 (204) 406-1801 and you get an honest answer. After the price is settled, I book a time that suits you, and I come to the car then.
What can you do on-site in Crescentwood?
Cut and program spare and replacement keys, set up fobs, remotes and chip keys, and open locked cars without damage — for most makes and models, older cars included. It is done in the driveway, the garage or at the curb, whether that is on Kingsway near Kelvin High School or on the river side of Wellington Crescent. With no working key at all, a new one is made from scratch on the spot after the vehicle registration and a matching photo ID have been checked.
How much does it cost in Crescentwood?
In Crescentwood a lockout is from $150, a spare, chip key or fob from $160, a smart / push-to-start key from $170 and a full all-keys-lost job from $200, taxes included. Because the neighbourhood is inside Winnipeg, the drive costs nothing extra and there is no call-out fee; some makes cost more, and payment happens after the key works — the price list has the details.
