St. Norbert is the far-south end of Winnipeg, and Pembina Highway runs straight through it. The St. Norbert neighbourhood itself starts at the Perimeter Highway and runs south to the La Salle River, between the Red River on the east and the rail line just west of Pembina. The city carries on past the La Salle to Turnbull Drive, where Pembina's Route 42 ends at the Winnipeg city limit; between Turnbull and the Perimeter the highway also carries the PTH 75 number.
The parish goes back to 1857, and its landmarks are where cars park today: the parish church on rue St. Pierre, the small Chapelle de Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Secours at 80 rue St. Pierre, and the St. Norbert Arts Centre at 100 rue des Ruines du Monastère, beside the ruins of the Trappist monastery.
Along Pembina, Le Marché St. Norbert Farmers' Market at 3514 Pembina Highway is open every Saturday of the year from 8 AM in summer and from 10 AM in winter. St. Norbert Community Centre is just north of it on the east side of Pembina at Ducharme Avenue, a few blocks south of the Perimeter, with an indoor arena, an outdoor rink, tennis courts and a splash pad beside a lot along the highway. At the south end, St. Norbert Provincial Heritage Park, 40 Turnbull Drive, sits where the La Salle meets the Red, with its old houses along a self-guiding trail.
So besides driveways and the curbs of the side streets off Pembina, the likely spots for a stuck car are the market on a Saturday morning, the community centre lot during a game, the church on rue St. Pierre, and the heritage park or the arts centre by the river. A key locked in with the week's groceries is sorted right where the car stands.

Your vehicle registration and a matching photo ID are checked before any work starts.
