Mobile auto locksmith in Tyndall

On Pierson Drive or on the quiet grid of Church, Second and Maple streets off it, I make spare keys, replace lost ones, program fobs and open locked cars beside the vehicle. You get the all-in total, drive from Winnipeg included, before I leave.

Tyndall sits just off Highway 44 in the RM of Brokenhead, about 36 km north-east of the Winnipeg city limit by road. Highway 44 starts at Highway 9 in Lockport and runs east past Garson, then Tyndall, before skirting the north edge of Beausejour.

Tyndall and Garson, with Henryville midway between them, are run together as the Local Urban District of Tyndall-Garson, and the name travels further than the village does: Tyndall stone, quarried just west of here, is in the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa and in the Manitoba Legislative Building.

Pierson Drive is the main street and holds most of the parking. It leaves Highway 44 at the south end of the village, by the monument built from the remains of Old St. Michael's Church, and the addresses climb northward from there: Gillis School at 3 Pierson with the ball diamond beside it, JuliKin's Restaurant at 43, and the Tyndall Village Community Centre at 69 near the far end.

Off the main street it is a quiet residential grid — Church Street, Second Street, Maple Street — where cars sit in the driveway or at the curb, and the other lots people call me from are the gas bar at Tyndall Power Products on Oak Avenue, the school, and the curling club at 8 Second Street. Whichever it is, all I need is access to the driver's door and a few minutes beside the car.

I cover Tyndall, just off Highway 44. The travel fee is $2 per km from the Winnipeg city limit to Tyndall, worked into the exact, all-in number you get before I set out — never a surprise when I pull up.

What I do on-site

  • On-site anywhere in Tyndall — a driveway on Church or Second Street, the lot at Gillis School on Pierson Drive, the gas bar on Oak Avenue, or a yard out along Highway 44. I work at the car, and it stays where it is.
  • Keys made from scratch, spares, lockouts, fobs and chip keys — programmed at the vehicle for most makes and models, older cars included, in a driveway in the village or a yard site out on the highway.
  • Up-front, all-in price — car lockout from $150, spare, chip key or fob from $160, smart / push-to-start from $170, all keys lost from $200, taxes included. Tyndall is outside the city, so a travel fee is built into that figure, and you hear the total before I set out — never on arrival.
  • Half price on a second key — same car, cut at the same visit, with a 1-year warranty on the work. Easiest to sort out while the car is already sitting in the driveway at home, instead of booking a separate run out from the city.
  • Open 8 AM to 9 PM, 7 days — holidays too, so a weekend at the curling club on Second Street and a weekday morning outside the community centre at 69 Pierson are both fine. Call, text or WhatsApp +1 (204) 406-1801.

Frequently asked questions

Do you come to Tyndall and Garson?
Yes. I am a fully mobile auto locksmith, so I come to the car, on-site — a driveway on Church or Second Street, the lot at Gillis School on Pierson Drive, the gas bar on Oak Avenue, or a yard out along Highway 44. Garson is just west along the same highway, with Henryville midway between the two villages, and I cover both. Nothing has to be towed anywhere. Tell me the year, make and model, and once you know the price we agree a day and time that suit you.
When can you reach Tyndall?
I serve Tyndall and Garson 7 days a week, 8 AM to 9 PM, holidays included. Tyndall sits just off Highway 44, north-east of Winnipeg, so the timing depends on the drive and on what is already booked that day, and a travel fee based on the distance is already inside the one all-in price I give you before I set off. Call or message +1 (204) 406-1801 and I will tell you honestly when I can be there.
Do you cover the Beausejour and Highway 44 area?
Yes. Highway 44 starts at Highway 9 in Lockport and runs east past Garson and Tyndall before skirting the north edge of Beausejour, further east, and I serve that whole stretch. These are all towns outside Winnipeg, so a travel fee is built into the price and it goes up with the distance — Beausejour is a longer drive than Tyndall. You always get the exact, all-in total up front, before I set out.
What can you do on-site in Tyndall?
Keys made from scratch, spares, lockouts, fobs and chip keys, programmed at the vehicle on a driveway off Church or Second Street, in the Gillis School lot on Pierson Drive or at a yard site out on Highway 44, Garson included. Most makes and models, older cars included.
How much does it cost in Tyndall?
In the village off Pierson Drive or at a yard along Highway 44, prices start from $150 for a lockout, $160 for a spare, chip key or fob, $170 for a smart / push-to-start key and $200 when all keys are lost, taxes included. The travel fee is $2 per km from the Winnipeg city limit to Tyndall; it is part of the all-in price I give you before I set out, never added on arrival, and you pay only once the key works or the car is open. Some makes cost more, and the pricing page has the full list.
